Chers Amis,

Dear Friends,

After four years at the head of the Alliance Française Dublin, I will be stepping down from my position this summer.

Together, we have profoundly transformed this century-old institution and brought the Alliance to an unprecedented level in its history.

It has been a collective effort, driven by a clear vision: that of an open, innovative institution, deeply rooted in Ireland, in Europe, in the Francophone world, and true to the humanist spirit of the Alliances.

Today, our Alliance is globally recognised for its ambitious pedagogy, its unwavering commitment to cultural diversity and multilingualism, its creative energy, its ability to combine excellence and inclusion and, above all, for its extraordinary Community!

I return to Paris with the feeling of a mission accomplished, and with immense gratitude for everything I’ve had the chance to share with each and every one of you.

One never truly leaves Ireland, a country that blends tradition and modernity with rare elegance.

Thank you for this unique professional and human experience.

Slán go fóill,

Fabienne Clérot, Directrice Alliance Française Dublin / Coordinatrice des Alliances Françaises d’Irlande
